Early Journal Entry

Found while organizing/discarding material:

5-4-05  I’ve been writing more in my book. Gosh, my history sounds like a play, like somebody else’s life.   My poor mother, my poor father, my poor me.

At 79, I was just about to stop keeping a journal, but that felt like accepting that growth was finished. I don't want to be finished, yet! I'm 80 now, and struggling to communicate with you, if you'll come and set awhile. P.S. My how time flies! I'm 83 now.

    We are all broken…maybe some in more pieces than others. It must be cathartic to write about and feel the sadness. I just read how e-motion can move us toward one another, toward God.
