Concerning the following which I posted earlier, I learned that for updates on all the blogs I follow to appear on my Reader (instead of many on e-mail), I must transition from .com to .org for $99. Just thought you’d like to know.

I recently dropped a number of sites I had been following because they hadn’t posted in a long time. As I dropped well below 300 blogs followed, I discovered that not everyone on my followed list gets listed in my Reader when they post. If that’s you I apologize. I checked everyone in my reader frequently, while entirely oblivious to others I thought I was actively following.
I wonder how many posts you can follow and they will all be covered via the Reader.

Most of the blogs I follow I only get on my email notifications. Like yours never comes up in my reader and maybe a handful come up in my reader. If I didn’t add email notifications I would never see any posts! I don’t know why this is everyone should be in the reader but they aren’t. Then I will see their comment on someone elses post and i will go to their site and realize I’ve missed a month of their posts because I didn’t even get notifications. So I understand that frustration with that.

Thank you for the response! My e-mail is so cluttered with fund-raising stuff I may need to do an e-mail cleaning!

Oh it takes me forever to do my emails. Then I miss doctor emails because there is so much notification for the blogs. Then things go in the junk folder that shouldn’t be there. I’m not a fan of clutter yet my email is a clutter box!

How many do you follow? Nan

I was following 2000 but then I was getting 2000 in my email a day so I went through and only followed those who directly interact or like or I know are reading my blog regularly. That ended up only being about 100 people so I followed them and unfollowed the rest
