e-mail vs. g-mail Quandary–Can U Help?

Published February 10, 2018 by Nan Mykel

Twice recently I’ve been asked for my e-mail address and when I listed my g-mail address it was not accepted.  Any suggestions?

  • Who asked you for your email address? On your blog, and several other people’s, according to how the settings for comments were made, requires one logs in by putting one’s email, name and website before the comment will be accepted. Is that what you’re talking about?

  • I have not had problems using my gmail address. A gmail address is an email address. Although I do have an xfinity email account, which comes with the internet service, I don’t use it except as a backup. I assume you typed it correctly and added @gmail.com at the end. Best wishes with resolving the issue.

    • Thanks, Frank. My most recent turn-down was commenting on d’Verse. I’ll try and see who it was. My earlier one was on a requested political response letter. Very frustrating to be told one’s address is not one’s address!
