Orion’s Wheel reblog – Whimseygizmo

Marvelous imagery…

Whimsygizmo's Blog

….

We steal celestial moments,
thread our words through belt
loops touched only by
gods light years away.
We call names.

Fall apart.

Whistle and wait
for the echo of
our own syllables.

The stars are pin-prick cat prints
on construction paper,
and
somebody gnaws a moon
-ring in the black licorice
of this broken sky.

wordled.

About Nan Mykel

At 79, I was just about to stop keeping a journal, but that felt like accepting that growth was finished. I don't want to be finished, yet! I'm 80 now, and struggling to communicate with you, if you'll come and set awhile. P.S. My how time flies! I'm 82 now.
