Intellectual Shaman

We must recognize

what has never been there before—

giving birth to our child from our insides

She’s more beautiful than any being under the sun

because our prejudice is how we see her

and no opinion can ever change that.

This is how we should approach ourselves

with a special reverence

like lost dinosaur bones

gently brushed away

revealing their majesty.

Without love

at the heart of our skeleton

we are dead, already.

Love can be found

in silence

when a person becomes known to us.

It’s easy to dismiss all people

and their common talk

like common rocks

but when you break through, and dynamite!

their sand, water and bones of belief

must be handled with care

You can study them

for a lifetime.
