Saturday Night Blues – Tanaga for d’Verse

All dressed up no place to go

Lost my guy in Ohio

He was sneaky as a thief

Stole my heart would you belief!

About Nan Mykel

At 79, I was just about to stop keeping a journal, but that felt like accepting that growth was finished. I don't want to be finished, yet! I'm 80 now, and struggling to communicate with you, if you'll come and set awhile. P.S. My how time flies! I'm 82 now.

Nice sound. I especially liked the “go” and “Ohio” rhyme. It occurred to me that hearts can at least feel like they have been stolen.

I like the tempo. I think you could make some blues verses out of that

  6. Ha! The bum. And yet the narrator sounds strong, better off without him. This was a song lyric to my ear, a traditional or blues song.
