Thanks, I’m safe. I finished my hospital stay with pneumonia about 2 weeks before the pandemic. Good to hear you’re safe, too, though I can never be sure where you are.

  Right now I’m in Florida … 😕 I’d rather be ‘home’ in Puerto Rico. Seems to be safer there but … we are isolating at home right now. 🤞🏽

So far so good. No cases yet identified in our county. We are staying close to home, cooking, reading, doing taxes. Sunny here. Sam is out biking. Can’t believe the government is going to send retirees like us $1200 each, as though we were suffering a decrease in income. What about the poor souls who can’t afford to file tax returns because their employers won’t or don’t withhold and pay FICA tax for them? Times have changed, with millions of workers on their own and off the grid. we need to transition from income and FICA taxes and replace them with a consumption and wealth tax. After the revolution…
