At 79, I was just about to stop keeping a journal, but that felt like accepting that growth was finished. I don't want to be finished, yet! I'm 80 now, and struggling to communicate with you, if you'll come and set awhile. P.S. My how time flies! I'm 82 now.

  1. I don’t know if you know the writer Doris Lessing. Or her work rather. I found a short story of hers once telling how her heart was stuck to her hand. I remember the phrase: ”… and there it was, bleeding all over …” She was on a train. The harder she tried to get rid of it the more stuck it became. Until eventually she gave it to someone and it came off her hand quite easily …
