Thank you for your email.

The Scissors are a reference to a story my Mother told me when I was five. She said
a woman hid in the walls and that she cut out the eyes and tongues of little boys that talked too much.
So the boy is depicted as silent and blindfolded surrounded by imaginary friends and protectors.  Thank you again,
