Given that Trump immediately  made hostile remarks and/or moves on several of our allies,  signed executive orders on schools, the military, birth citizenship and…what more will be in the news today. the word suggesting impeachment has finally appeared.  For detailed info about the reasons for impeachment in the US I’ll refer to Google.
Five broad categories of impeachment evidence:

1.EVIDENCE OF BIAS
2 EVIDENCE OF DEFECTS IN PERCEPTION AND RECALL
3 EVIDENCE OF BAD CHARACTER FOR TRUTHFULNESS
4. EVIDENCE OF PRIOR INCONSISTENT STATEMENTS
5. CONTRADICTION (One DAY TRUMP ANNOUNCED February AS black history month & almost immediately his directive doing away with special months was announced. Not cited as cause for impeachment by yours truly, but example of current level of governing.

PUT ANOTHER WAY,
Impeachable offenses
Culpable violation of the constitution.
Treason.
Bribery.
Graft and corruption.
Betrayal of Public Trust.
Other high crimes.

It is fairly well known that President Trump has a low opinion of military service personnel–At least the ones who were captured, died, etc. I was surprised, then, to read that He spoke so proudly of our military the other day in his rejection of trans individuals from our fighting force, defining them as not living up to the high standards of the military–

“Defending [Protecting?]  Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government) shall apply to this order.”

DOGE – Recently  I saw on Google that The Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE, said in a post on social media it terminated 89 contracts totaling $881 million. DOGE, which billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk leads, also said it cut 29 diversity, equity and inclusion training grants worth $101 million. And by the way, you probably already know that Musk’s 19-year old acolyte  known as Big Balls,  has taken on new roles as a senior adviser at the State Department and at the Department of Homeland Security, raising concerns among some diplomats and others about his potential access to sensitive information (Yahoo news)

The World Is Flat After All

Dubbed Democracy, it used to be

top of the line, the lead ship, at sea,

and on the land it served us well,

until the  strains of its death knell

fell,

baring an underbelly swole

with all the pilfered things they stole

in broad daylight, and  on t.v.!

Gone is the half-belief in he

who’ll take us safely to the shore

while staying steadfast to the core.

The compass nestles in the deep

while those on board remain asleep.

They used to say the earth was round,

that right makes might, but I found

that all I knew I now know not,

nor how to tell the truth from rot,

and not so sure that we’ll endure,

to make a safe arrival.
