Swimming Cows Escape to Safety

I’m a fan of the Week magazine, and discovered this clipping from a 2019 issue:

“Three cows that Hurricane Dorian swept out to sea from the Outer Banks have been discovered living on a nearby island. After being hit with a 9-foot wall of water on Cedar Island, the bovine trio apparently swam several miles across North Carolina’s Core Sound to Cape Lookout National Seashore park. B. G. Horvat, a spokesman for the park, said the valiant cattle ‘appear to have a bond.’…”
