Will I go seeking absolution,
dragged down by the shackles
of sin in my swollen belly, or
ship out soundlessly from my berth
into the eternal matrix
where sins are but a fleet of
rubber duckies?

Sins don’t seem too bad when they are viewed as rubber duckies. When I lived in Winston-Salem, they used to have a rubber duck regatta for charity. So, just picture people casting their sins into the water to raise money for good. Keith
