Nan wanted to see “the real Medusa” which is on the cover of her new book. She met the artist for the first time and fell in love with the sculpture. She bought it on the spot, and it is now in Nan’s livingroom. The artist is Sarah Love, 24. The photo was taken at their meeting at McDonald’s in Nelsonville, Ohio.
Thanks to Nan’s generosity (and transport provided by her daughter and son-in-law), Medusa is now gracing the home of Nan’s cousin who helped edit her book. We also want to get in touch with the artist who created her. Let Nan know where you are, Sarah!

Thanks to your detective proclivities, I think I did connect with her on Facebook. Don’t know how those little notes work but I stuck a photo of the book on hers. Has’t she been busy with that precious baby! Hope I did the connection attempt right. If we don’t hear in a week I’ll sic you on her. :> )

I’m not on facebook so kindly pass on my admiration of the sculpture to the artist please Nan. I wonder when she made it? It looks like a clay figure, glazed and fired? Why did you use this image for the book? Maybe a next post could give more background info on both the content of the Fallout and the cover image.
